Follow the steps below to configure Eudora 5.x to send and receive email.
How to Set Up Eudora 5.x for Mac OS X to Send and Receive Email
  1. You will need the email server settings for your domain in order to complete this walkthrough. Print or write down this information for use during this walkthrough.
  2. Open Eudora.

  3. Click the No button.

  4. Click the Getting Started icon.
  5. In the Username field, type your full email address (e.g., sample@youdomain.com).
  6. In the Mail Server field, type pop3.ivenue.com.
  7. In the Real Name field, type your name.
  8. In the SMTP Server field, type smtp.ivenue.com. Note: Some ISP's require that you always use their SMTP servers. Ask your ISP if you are not sure.
  9. In the Return Address field, type your entire email address (e.g., sample@yourdomain.com).

  10. Click the Sending Mail icon.
  11. Check the box next to Allow authorization.

  12. Optional: If you would like to also use webmail to check your mail, click Checking Mail, then check the box for Leave on Server for ____ days

  13. Click the Attachments icon.
  14. Click the AppleDouble ("MIME") radio button in the Encoding method area.
  15. Click the OK button.
